Abstract

A transport device for the transport of pallets, comprised of a frame (1), two fixed parallel beams (2), at least three wheels (3), at least two forks (4), a mechanism (5) for raising and lowering the forks, as well as a handle (6) for transporting the device. Previously known transport devices were not suitable for transporting different pallets because each different foot construction required forks that were of different dimensions and arranged differently, as they were pushed in under the pallet in order to lift it.According to the invention, at least one of the forks (2) that is pushed under the pallet can be moved transversally toward or away from the other fork as well as being mounted at a desired distance from the other fork.
