Abstract

The carpet sweeper comprises a casing, a wheel (12) which engages the carpet and a brush roller (22) rotatably located in the casing. The casing comprises upper and lower parts releasably connected to each other, the brush roller being fitted in the upper part. The housing lower part, on removal from the upper part, forms an openable easily emptied dust collection container.(2)
