Abstract

By means of springs 8 which act on the gripping arms at points 7a, 7b close to the pivot centre X, the arms in question are fixed in the open position by the springs when they have pivoted out so that the springs have passed over the centre X downwards, while they are brought into a closed position by the springs when the arms have been pivoted towards each other to such a degree that the springs have passed over the centre X upwards. In order to be able to pivot the arms towards each other from ground level, a tool fixed to a pole can be used.
