Abstract

The alarm system comprises a transmitter connectable to one or more receivers via connections in a telephone system. The transmitter partly comprises a programmable ringing device which dependent upon an initiation takes care of the programming, and partly incorporates or is connected to a telephone appts. The telephone appts. number initiation component, e.g. a set of buttons is connected to a component affected by the programming, so that the first number allocated to the alarm receiving unit within the telephone system, and the second number, i.e. a code number, allocated to the transmitter permit identification of the transmitter in the receiver. The two numbers are programmable into the system by the number initiation component. (Provisional Basic advised week 84/38)
