Abstract

An arrangement is claimed for filtering treating sewage, where the water is introduced in the filter arrangement without pumping. This avoids the breaking up of the flock formation. There is a rotary drum which is covered with a filter cloth. The drum passes a scraper and air-water spray to remove organisms from the cloth. These fall onto a conveyor belt which includes a filter cloth and tray, the latter carrying away the water. - Used for filtering sewage. (Provisional Basic previously advised in Week 83/36)(0/2)
