Abstract

The invention relates to a method and arrangement for fitting a force-absorbing connecting element to at least one reinforcing bar which can be anchored firmly at at least one end mounting to a concrete pile. The object of the invention is, by using moderate pressing forces and simple workshop equipment, to bring about an effective connection between the element and one or more reinforcing bars. This has been achieved by virtue of the fact that a connecting element 14 is pressed with a predetermined external force transversely to the longitudinal direction of the bar around the end portion of the bar(s) 12, and the pressing force exerted on the connecting element is made permanent by fitting fixing means 21 drawn transversely through the connecting element 14. <IMAGE>
