Abstract

The timber sorting trestle comprises a frame supporting a rotatable roller movable between a rest position where it is not in contact with a tree trunk dropped over the trestle, and a work position in which the trunk rests on it. The roller fits in a frame part pivotably connected to the main frame, and in its work position its supporting surface is in a plane higher than the top edge of the trestle. The trestle top edge has a support rail with upper spikes and raised end stops.
