A device for the agitation of closed cylindrical test containers, e.g. test tubes (P), has two groups (12) of cylindrical rollers (13) arranged side by side with parallel geometrical axles (13A). The rollers are housed in a stand (11) and rotated by a drive (19-22) around axel lines (19A) that form an angle with the rollers geometrical axels. The rollers (13) protrude out cantilever from the opposing vertical walls (18) on the frame.<IMAGE>
