Abstract

The invention relates to a pair of rotors provided with helical cams and intermediate grooves for interacting in a screw-rotor machine where one flank in each male rotor cam, right outside of the pitch circle, follows a curve which at the intersection point with the pitch circle forms an angle with the rotor radius of 0.25-0.75 rad, and in this point has a radius of curvature which is larger than the product of the pitch radius and sine of said angle. <IMAGE>
