Abstract

The coupling device is used for connecting chains and/or belts and has two connecting elements which are connected to one another via an intermediate piece which is constructed as a rotating bearing. The one connecting element is constructed as a safety hook. In consequence, the coupling device is suitable for connecting chains and lashing nets which have often to be attached and disconnected and must be held securely in the attached position. In addition, the coupling device also ensures that the connecting elements can be rotated easily and quickly with respect to one another by means of the rotating bearing and thus can be brought into the desired position with respect to one another. The rotating bearing furthermore prevents it being possible for the chain which is attached in the safety hook to be transposed.
