Abstract

Individual cut-out, self-adhesive grinding discs (1) are attached to an oblong carrying spine (2) and wound into a roll (3), the abrasive-coated face of the grinding discs (1) being directed outwards. The roll (3) is placed in a box (4), one of whose side walls is provided with a crescent shaped opening (5) corresponding to the width of the discs for dispensing the individual grinding discs (1). The grinding-discs are attached to the carrying spine so that they overlap each other and the contact face between the carrying spine and each of the grinding discs (1) comprises only a little edge portion (1a). When unwound from the roll (3), the individual grinding discs (1) have their portions (1a) attached to the carrying spine at their front edges, whereby the free rear edge (1b) of each grinding disc (1) forms a grasping face for dispensing of the grinding discs (1) from the continuous unit. The discs may be circular, rectangular or square and the carrying spine may be of silicone paper. More than one carrying spine may be provided. <IMAGE>
