Abstract

An adjustable guard rail, Figure 1, consists of a number of poles 1 which can be secured to the gutters 3 of a building, are supported against the outer wall 15 via the support element 14 and against the roof via the brace 19. The poles are placed with a gap of two to three metres and connected to one another via horizontally extending pipes. The adjustable guard rail is preferably used as a protection when roof-covering or when carrying out repair work or maintenance work on a roof, and prevents falls.
