Abstract

System for utilizing the heat content in ventilation discharge air for heating of service water, comprising a heat pump 2, the evaporator 4 of which is connected to a discharge air heat exchanger 10 and the condenser 6 of which is connected for transfer of heat to a circulation circuit for service water, containing at least one main hot water accumulator 30, 32. In a separate heat exchanger 14 arranged between the condenser 6 and the accumulator 30, 32, in which heat exchanger heat is transferred from the working medium of the heat pump on the hot side to incoming cold service water, and from which water thus heated is supplied to the main accumulator, a regulating of the water flow and of its temperature takes place by means of a temperature- controlled regulating valve 28 in the hot water outlet from the separate heat exchanger 14, such that the water put out from the heat exchanger will have a regulated temperature, irrespective of the temperature of the incoming water. In the cold-water inlet of the separate heat exchanger 14, an operating thermostat 26 is arranged, controlling the operation of the heat pump in dependence of the temperature of the incoming water. The main accumulator 30, 32 only has an accumulation function, and any additional heat is supplied to the service water subsequent to the accumulation. <IMAGE>
