Abstract

The solid-fuel combustion device comprises a combustion chamber (2) with a movable grate (8) supporting the fuel and allowing the passage of combustion air. A drive mechanism sets the grate in motion, and fuel is delivered in metered quantities through a port (6) into the chamber. A regulator controls the drive to the grate in proportion to the heat required.
