Abstract

The door hinge has first and second fixed parts (2,1) by which it is attached to the door frame or panel, each part having a socket (5,4). For articulation, a pin (6) passes through both sockets. Either or both fixed parts have a projection (8) which, in the hinge closed position, extends into a hole (9) in the opposite part. The structure of the hinge is such that, even if the articulation pin is cut or removed, the associated door cannot be lifted away.
