Abstract

Both side sections of the window casement are provided with hinges intended to support grip members arranged on the frame. Before the frame is fitted, a support surface for the frame is first arranged temporarily in proximity to each hinge, after which the frame is laid on the two support surfaces and moved, from inside of the window, into and partially through the casement until the grip members of the frame come into immediate proximity with the hinges, the frame is then tilted round said support surfaces so that said members engage with the hinges, and further tilting of the frame means that the bearing point of the frame is shifted from the support sufaces to the hinges, after which the support surfaces are released from the casement and removed to permit closure of the window. The device consists of a rod 24 whose two ends 25 are provided with means which can be brought into engagement with the hinges and can be temoprarily secured on these. <IMAGE>
