Abstract

The invention relates to a method for providing a steady axle connection, comprising an axle 1 which at its end carries a locking plate 2 having a through hole 3 for a locking screw 9, two anchoring pieces 4, 5 with opposing holes 6, 7 for journaling the axle 1, whereby one anchoring piece 4 has a threaded hole 8 in line with the hole 3 in the locking plate for receiving said screw. According to the invention, the axle 1 is locked against rotative movements by means of a locking screw fixing the locking plate and being formed or provided with a cylindrical portion 15 arranged between the head 12 of the screw and its threaded portion 14, said cylindrical portion 15 having a predetermined length being larger than the thickness of the locking plate 2, and a predetermined diameter being smaller than the hole 3 in the locking plate, in order to obtain an interspace 18 between the head of the head 12 of the locking screw and the locking plate or the anchoring plate 4 at finished axle connection, and a play 17 in the hole 3 between the cylindrical portion 15 and the locking plate, respectively. Further, the play 17 in the hole 3 between the cylindrical portion and the locking plate is adapted to be larger than the play 20 at respective holes 7,8 between the axle and the anchoring pieces. <IMAGE>
