Abstract

The appts. is used for arranging reverse lengths of single or multiple fibre optic conductors and includes two spaced walls each with partitions spaced along the outer surface to permit light frictional retention of individual fibres between pairs of partitions. There are further partitions along the inner surface of one wall. An unjacketed length of a cable with at least 5 times the organizer body length and individual fibres is coiled in two complete oval loops with a third partial loop overlapping one side of a full loop. The jacketed cable sections end at the body ends and the fibres are held with the full loops in the outer partitions and the partial loop in the inner partitions.
