Abstract

The invention relates to plastic pockets for arrangement on parcels and the like and intended to contain address labels, packing notes and the like, and also provided with adhesive on one side for attachment to the consignment. According to the invention, the plastic pockets are made from two plastic films which are welded together by means of a bottom weld 1 and two side welds 2, 3 which do not reach all the way to the openings of the pockets, so that a section 5 is formed in which the films are not welded together. The pockets are arranged on a protective paper in the form of a continuous web, and are separated by perforations 6 which pass through only the plastic films and not through the protective paper. The invention also relates to an arrangement for dispensing plastic pockets according to the above and comprising a holder 10 for a roll 11 of a web comprising a succession of plastic pockets on a continuous protective paper, and also an arrangement 14 for opening the pockets for insertion of address cards and/or other notes. In a preferred embodiment, the feed of the web of pockets is driven and is controlled by a sensor 13 so that opening takes place correctly. <IMAGE>
