Abstract

A novel method of dimensionally stabilizing wood products prepared by a compression molding step comprising heating the wood material at 1.60 to 220.degree.C in a gaseous atmosphere of 4 to 15 bar pressure for a time sufficient to stabilize the dimensions thereof.
