Abstract

The invention concerns a digitally programmable tinnitus masker which is primarily intended for treatment of patients suffering from tinnitus, i.e., patients suffering from ringing of the ears and the like. The arrangement contains primarily a signal generator 18 internally connected to a telephone receiver 2 for generating a tone 19 or noise 20 which is individually adapted to the patient's needs. To the signal generator 18 is connected, or directly integrated via a contact, a programming unit 17 by which programming of the signal characteristics can occur via elements in a switch arrangement 14. <IMAGE>
