Abstract
A transformer core for a three-phase heavy-current transformer having three limbs whose length is between 1.5 and 2.3 m, the laminate layers in each outer limb (3a, 3b) consisting of a plurality of laminates which are placed side-by-side in the lateral direction in such a manner that each side limb forms two or more mutually parallel sub-limbs which are arranged between the yokes without any significant mechanical interconnection.
