Abstract

The rail vehicle driver's cab has a footrest incorporating a plate movable up and down in bushes, sliding on guides mounted on the cab front wall. A locking device is provided, by which the plate can be fixed in different positions, while a lifting device, such as a compression spring, exerts a force on the plate counter-balanced by the weight of the latter.
