Abstract

A tiltable driver's cabin on a vehicle is secured by a latch comprising one or more bolts 18 pivoted as at L on the cabin frame, and a fixed pin-type striker 16. The latch bolt 18 has curved full-latch and safety-latch surfaces Fr1 and Fr2 at radii r1 and r2 from the pivot L. These surfaces engage a complementarily curved surface Fs of radius r1 on the striker. The two latch-bolt surfaces are joined by a straight part Fsp. <IMAGE>
