Abstract

In a lawn mower, the drive shaft comprises a shaft pivot 1, 3 and a bushing 7 surrounding the shaft pivot and displaceable in its longitudinal direction, the cutter 2 being secured to the lower end of the bushing. In order to permit height adjustment of the cutter 2, resilient locking element 14 is arranged between the shaft pivot 1, 3 and the bushing 7 by means of which the said bushing can be locked in the required position. The outer surface of said bushing 7 is provided with a peripheral groove 15 into which an adjusting lever 18, 19 extends for displacing said bushing along said shaft pivot 1, 3. <IMAGE>
