Abstract

In a combination of a connector clamp (1) and a tool (11) for insertion of a wire (18) in the connector clamp the connector clamp (1) presents a slit (2) on a plane evenly thick metal plate for reception of the wire and for removal of the wire's insulation when the wire is pressed down into the slit. The connector clamp's slit (2) presents an inner constriction (4) due to a imprint (5) in the slit's surrounding plate material. The connector clamp (1) is joined with a second connector clamp (8) of the same type as the first, which also presents a slit for wire (18) but lacks an imprint. The tool (11) is equipped with a punch (12) with perpendicular, sharp edges and set up to press down the wire (18) in the slit (2) up to the imprint (4) with its insertion along the first connector clamp's (1) side and with continued insertion cut the wire against the imprint. At the same time the wire is pressed down by the tool (11) in the other connector clamp's (8) slit, at which the wire's insulation is also removed in this slit.<IMAGE>
