Abstract

A method of packaging sheets which are on edge in a stack (S) comprises placing a container (18, 19) over the top of a portion of the stack, and then rotating the container and that portion of the stack to a "right-side-up" position so that the sheets rest inside the container. A rotatable table (29, 31) is utilized for placing the container with the sheets "right-side-up" and a conveyor (38) is used for moving the righted container with sheets away from the table. The sheet stack (S) is formed by sheets (13) being stripped from a conveyor (10, 12) by a stop (14) and deposited on a conveyor (16). <IMAGE>
