Abstract

The invention relates to a thermal metering device without a flow meter which allows assessment of the thermal energy consumptions of individual heating installations with a view to division of the heating costs, and comprising thermoelectric probes placed on the radiators of the installations, and a central processing unit with a microprocessor. Improvements to the remote measurement loop allow inspection of the thermoelectric probes which consists in particular in placing each thermoelectric probe (40) in a resistive bridge (40, 41) biased from a supply line (50) which also provides the reference voltage of a analog/digital converter (4) which forms part of the central processing unit and allows the said probes to be read. It is used advantageously for dividing heating charges between the various premises in a tenement building. <IMAGE>
