Abstract

The invention concerns a tool for producing wholly-cast plastic screens. This tool is made up of two parts which, when combined, form the casting mould into which plastic can be injected and one part of which moulds the inside of the screen, while the other part moulds the outside. The two parts' common joint surface starts from the edges of the mould and extends a certain distance basically at right angles to the screen edge, after which the joint surfaces run obliquely away from the outside of the mould. By means of this tool, it is possible to cast the object in a hitherto unknown, simple tool in standard plastic-casting machinery; in addition, when the parts are built up of elements corresponding to the screen width and profile shape, screens of different dimensions and shapes can be produced. <IMAGE>
