Abstract

The invention refers to a device in order for heat-insulating windows by allowing either one or two rolling window shades to be side draught-proofed by a tiltable M or S-shaped profile moulding (10, 20). The profile moulding has a position for friction free rolling up and down of the shades (fig. 2 and 4) and a position for tightening the vertical edges of the window shades (fig. 3 and 5). The mouldings retain their tiltability as they are equipped, along their entire length, with a self-adhesive tape (11, 17) whose protruding part fixes the moulding against the vertical window lining with a hinged effect. The shade nearest to the window glass (2) should be made of transparent plastic. Transparent and invisible from the outside it can in principle be rolled down and the edges tightened day and night during the entire cold period of the year, when the window provides a permanent heat-insulating air course (5) of considerable volume.<IMAGE>
