Abstract

A retaining lock armature for parachute harnesses having a housing part and a pin part which can be inserted into it and which, in its front section, has a backwardly directed retaining spring which, in its retaining position, abuts, by means of its rear edge, which passes transversely over the direction of insertion of the pin part, against a corresponding edge in a retaining aperture in the housing part and can be released from the said position by means of pressure on the retaining spring in a direction at right angles to the direction of insertion of the in part. In this connection, the retaining spring of the armature is provided with a securing member which, when the armature parts, housing part 6 and pin part 7, are coupled together and/or used, automatically fixes, and thereby secures, the retaining position of the retaining springs.
