Abstract

The metal profile bar (10) for producing a case (1) or a frame has an entire length which corresponds at least to that length which is required in total for the vertical and horizontal members (3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9). The metal profile bar (10) is provided with through-passages (12, 13) for receiving a lock socket, an electric opening means or a lock cylinder. The distance of the cutouts (12, 13) from the end side of the profile bar (10) corresponds approximately to half the length of a vertical member (3, 4) of the case (1) or of a frame.
