Abstract

An electrical push-button switch having a switching lever (4), which can pivot about an axis and can be influenced by a push button (3) which is arranged in a housing part, switches an indexing wheel (5b) onwards. In this case, a cam (5a) acts on a snap-action spring (7) which supports a contact, as a result of which said snap-action spring (7) is alternately moved into two different switching positions whenever the push button is pressed. The cam itself is fixed in its switching positions by a blocking spring. The switching lever (4) is of U-shaped construction and is supported on bearing blocks (1a, 1b), which are integrally formed on the housing lower part (1), such that it can move in rotation and such that a return spring for the push button (3) and the switching lever (4) is articulated on the switching lever (4). The web (4a) of the switching lever (4) interacts with the push button (3) and has a bent, self-sprung arm (6) for operating the indexing wheel (5b). Together with the four-edged switching cam (5a), which is constructed as a switching shaft, and the latching star, the indexing wheel consists of a part which is supported in a second pair of bearing blocks which are integrally formed on the housing lower part (1). A snap-action spring (7) is arranged between the bearing blocks on a metallic U-piece (9) such that the switching cam (5a) rests on the longitudinal bar of the frame. <IMAGE>
