Abstract

The invention relates to an arrangement for bundling logs in water of the type which comprises a rolling support 1, bundling rope or the like 2, and a counterweight 4 provided with rope 3. According to the invention, the bundling rope and the separate rope of the counterweight are both arranged so as to be wound up on and unwound from winders which have been arranged on a common axis 7 in such a way that the moment arm for the rope 3 of the counterweight becomes longer and at the same time the moment arm for the bundling rope 2 become shorter as the bundle grows. <IMAGE>
