Abstract

A procedure for the production of bag-rolls (8) through the spooling up of an extended, perforated strip (5) using a spooling device (3). When the spooling device has drawn in an allotted length of the strip corresponding to the desired number of bags in the bag-roll (8), the strip is restrained ahead of the spooling device (3) via a gripping device (4) for tearing off the strip (5) from a completely spooled bag-roll (8). Thereafter the spooling device (3) releases the bag-roll (8) and moves the gripping device (4) downwards past the spooling device (3), so that this can capture the strip and begin a new spooling cycle, where after the gripping device (4) returns to its start position in front of the spooling device (3).<IMAGE>
