Abstract
An overall picture GB is imaged by a number of TV cameras viewing adjacent fields EBI to EBVIII. A video signal is derived from the camera outputs, which corresponds to a desired sub scene TB, by controlled switching of the camera outputs. A staggered line sync. arrangement between cameras viewing adjacent fields along a horizontal row leads to a notional interlace multiplication by a factor equal to the number of fields in the row. <IMAGE>
