Abstract

A keyboard is given a box-like shape with upper and lower sections (2, 3) that can be taken apart and put together. The lower section (3) has upward projecting side edges all around. A stabilizing bottom plate (8) is located within the lower section. The upper section is supported against the upper edges of the lower section and the stabilizing bottom plate. The front edge of the bottom plate has a forward projecting lip (8b) in which the upper section can engage. The top section (2) can be locked into the back edge of the lower section with screws or the like.<IMAGE>
