Abstract

The present invention concerns a spike holder which is made of plastic and comprises a tubular body 1; 10, which is open at least at one end and has an inner screw thread for interacting with an outer thread on a spike. The holder also has a fastening element for anchoring the holder in a sole of a footwear during the moulding of the sole. The fastening element contains a plurality of separate wing pieces 4; 13 arranged around the body and directed outward from it, wherein the inner base portion of each wing part, situated next to the body, extends along with the body, while the outer wing parts, situated at a distance from the body, have a shorter lengthwise dimension than the inner base portions. The outer wing parts are mutually connected by a hold-together element 15; 14, which is constructed as a single piece with the wing parts, and the body extends past the hold-together element in the lengthwise direction. <IMAGE>
