Abstract

A switch cabinet is disclosed which has drawer-type panels of instrument sets adapted to be electrically connected with bus bars disposed inside the switch cabinet. The bus bars are provided, in the area of each drawer-type panel, with a cover which forms a protection upon removal of the drawer-type panel and is adapted to be contacted from below by at least one wedge member on the drawer-type panel to be displaced along the bus bars as the panel is being inserted into the cabinet. The wedge member also serves as a contact piece for establishing ground connection between the drawer-type panel and a side wall, connected to the switch cabinet, of a bus bar channel open toward the face of the switch cabinet.
