Abstract

The disclosure relates to a multi-rod actuator configuration (1) configured to control an airfoil control surface (2) comprising; - at least two elongated guide members (10), at least one control actuator device (20) configured to control the movement of at least one of said elongated guide members (10), a control circuitry (CC) coupled to a clamping selector valve device (CS) and a servo valve device (SV) for controlling the motion of a piston device (22) of the control actuator device (20); characterized in that the multi-rod actuator configuration (1) further comprises at least two airfoil control segments (30), each of which is coupled to the respective elongated guide member (10) and forms said airfoil control surface (2). The disclosure further relates to a method for controlling an airfoil control surface (2) using the multi-rod actuator configuration (1), a data program (p) and a data medium (m).
