Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a cable retaining clip (100) for retaining cables (C) to a cable holder (H), the clip (100) comprising an elongated central part (1); a first leg (2) for releasably coupling to the cable holder (H); a second leg (3) for releasably coupling to the cable holder (H); and a resilient member (4) for retaining cables (C) between the elongated central part (1) and the cable holder (H).

Claims (9)

Claims
1. Cable retaining clip (100) for retaining cables (C) to a cable holder (H), the clip (100) comprising - an elongated central part (1); - a first leg (2) for releasably coupling to the cable holder (H); - a second leg (3) for releasably coupling to the cable holder (H); and - a resilient member (4) for retaining cables (C) between the elongated central part (1) and the cable holder (H), wherein the resilient member (4) is attached to at least a part of a lower surface (S1) of the elongated central part (1); wherein the first leg (2) and the second leg (3) are positioned at opposite ends of the elongated central part (1); wherein the cable retaining clip (100) is adapted to simultaneously fasten cables (C) of different diameters to the cable holder (H), the cables (C) being fastened in the same direction; and wherein the cable holder (H) is a cable tray, a cable ladder or a wire mesh tray.
2. Cable retaining clip (100) according to claim 1, wherein the first leg (2) is shorter than the second leg (3).

Cable retaining clip (100) according to any__one of the preceding claims, wherein the first leg (2) extends from the central part (1) at an angle (A) between the lower surface (S1) of the elongated central part (1) and the first leg (2), and wherein the angle (A) is >90°, preferably 90-150°, more preferred 95-110°, most preferred wherein the angle (A) is 100°.
4. Cable retaining clip (100) according to any___one of the preceding claims, wherein the first leg (2) and/or the second leg (3) comprise(s) an indentation (5) for receiving a wire of the cable tray, wherein the cable tray is a wire mesh tray.
5. Cable retaining clip (100) according to anywone of th-e--preeed-ëtëg---claims "E to 3, wherein the first leg (2) and/or the second leg (3) comprise(s) an indentation (5) and/or a protrusion (6) for coupling to a through hole in the cable tray, wherein the cable tray is a cable ladder.
6. Cable retaining clip (100) according to any___one of the preceding claims, wherein the resilient member is a resilient foam (7).
7. Cable retaining clip (100) according to claim 6, wherein the resilient foam (7) has a cross-sectional area in the form of a rectangle, a square, a half circle, a circle segment, a trapezoid, or U-shaped or mushroom- shaped.
8. Cable retaining clip (100) according to any_\one of the preceding claims, wherein the resilient member (4) comprises a plurality of bristles or flanges (8).
9. Cable retaining clip (100) according to anyMone of the preceding claims, wherein an indentation (9) is located in a position where the inner surface (S1) of the elongated central part (1) meets the second leg (3).
