Abstract

The present document discloses a disposable protective cover (1) for a medical instrument (9) comprising an at least partially transparent plastic film sleeve (10), which is sized and adapted to snugly receive the medical instrument (9), the plastic film sleeve (10) having at least one open end (3). The protective cover (1) comprises at least one position indicator (7) at a predetermined position of the protective cover (1). The position indicator (7) is provided on an inside of the plastic film sleeve (10).
