Abstract

Rock drilling device comrising a feed beam (1), a rock drilling machine (2) movable to-and-fro along the feed beam (1) and defining a drilling axis (3), a rod magazine (4) arranged along the feed beam (1) and a device (5) for transferring a rod (6) between the rod magazine (4) and the drilling axis (3), whereby the device (5) for transferring a rod (6) comprises an arm (7) swingable relative to the feed beam (1) and that the arm (7) at its outer end comrises a gripping means (8), swingable between a first position (fig 2), directed towards the rod magazine (4), and a second position (fig 3), directed towards the drilling axis, for gripping a rod (6) at the transfer of the rod (6) between the rod magazine (4) and the drilling axis.
