A system for the temporary provision of various different services, such as dental services, postal service, illness and healthcare services, library services, theatres, banks, insurance services, retail services, information services, educational services, wherein the system comprises a number of mobile units that are intended for respective types of service and that visit the geographic place temporarily. Located at the geographic place concerned is a terminal building that has mobile unit docking parts. The terminal includes service spaces and accommodation facilities, such as toilets, customer waiting rooms, reception rooms, personnel accommodation rooms for specialists/personnel belonging to respective units, so that the mobile units need not provide such spaces themselves, but can be utilised space-wise for a service to be provided. The terminal may be a permanent building or a mobile building.

Description

n. ml» x h. .mm 10 15 20 25 30 35 513 087 2 According to a particularly important feature of the invention, a terminal is provided at a location where one or more mobile service units are to offer their service. This terminal shall contain waiting rooms for the customers to be served by the various service units, as well as hygiene / toilet rooms for the customers and / or for the staff belonging to the service units. Furthermore, the terminal can contain staff rooms / dining rooms / work rooms for the specialists / persons working in each mobile unit.

The terminal can be a permanent building in the geographical location where service is to be provided via separate service vehicles.

Since a terminal is provided, the mobile service units within substantially their entire available area can have a structure that is primarily suitable for the service / service that the customers are to be offered.

The terminal can be a permanent building at a certain geographical location, for example a sparsely populated community, which has such finances and does not have such a customer base that it is justifiable to build permanent premises for the various service companies, and / or to permanently staff the various premises with associated specialists . On the other hand, the terminal's waiting room and service functions can be well adapted to the expected number of waiting customers, and the expected number of service specialists / staff on the basis of a certain frequency of visits by the various service units.

But in an embodiment of the system according to the invention, the terminal itself can also advantageously be formed by a mobile unit. Such a solution may be relevant, for example, in the event that a fire or other damage has affected an urban community, in which service is to be maintained during the reconstruction work, by means of a system according to the invention. A mobile terminal unit can be favorable even when it is known that the terminal may need to be moved, for example shorter distances in a locality, or when it can be suspected that a need may arise, to change the size of the service unit. 10 15 20 25 30 35 51-3 0.87 3 The terminal is provided with at least and suitably several docking ports for weatherproof docking of a mobile unit, and the terminal is furthermore suitably provided with cable and line connections for electricity, water, drainage, heating, telecommunications and the like, for connection of any corresponding system in each mobile unit.

Docking via lock minimizes disruption of the climate in the terminal resp. docking vehicle, and allows comfortable passenger passage through the docking area.

The terminal may also contain information places in and / or outside its waiting room, for example notice boards with information on timetables for the attendance times of various mobile units and possible communication equipment, for booking appointments with respective service specialists, etc.

The terminal and the mobile units are preferably mutually standardized and adapted with regard to physical spatial docking and with regard to cable and cable connections.

An important advantage of the invention is that the mobile units only need to include the special material and the special equipment and offer workplaces for associated staff, as well as service space for the customers. The terminal can contain all the general structure and equipment required for any and all individual service facilities and their staff as well as the customers / clients of the various service facilities.

The terminal can of course also offer satisfaction of other human necessities, for example by containing shops for the sale of food and beverages, newspapers, etc.

An example of the invention will be schematically described below in connection with the accompanying drawing.

IM.. 10 15 20 25 30 51-3 987 Ritningens fig 1 visar schematiskt och perspektiviskt en termi- nal till vilken mobila serviceenheter är dockade.IM .. 10 15 20 25 30 51-3 987 Fig. 1 of the drawing shows schematically and in perspective a terminal to which mobile service units are docked.

In Fig. 1 you can see a terminal building 1 with an entrance / exit 11 and seven docking ports 12 separated around the perimeter of the building. Mobile units 14-19 are connected to respective docking ports 12, which offer access to the interior of the terminal building 1, which contains customer rooms 20, for example in the form of waiting rooms, staff rooms 21 for staff belonging to the mobile units 14-19, toilets 22 for customers and staff, cloakrooms 23, etc. The terminal 1 can of course also contain information screens 24, and communication equipment 25 for time booking, etc.

Av fig 1 framgår att de mobila enheterna 14-19 kan vara av oli- ka slag; det gemensamma för dem är att de är mobila och har en utformning som är väl anpassad till den service de skall ge, varvid enheterna 14-19 kan dra fördel av de serviceutrymmen som finns i terminalen 1.Fig. 1 shows that the mobile units 14-19 can be of different types; what they have in common is that they are mobile and have a design that is well adapted to the service they are to provide, whereby the units 14-19 can benefit from the service spaces located in the terminal 1.

Unit 14 is illustrated as a mobile training room with associated teaching spaces. Unit 15 is shown to be a mini-theater with a lounge, stage and prop spaces. Unit 16 is an insurance service unit, unit 17 is a dental care unit, unit 18 is a postal / banking service unit, unit 19 is a unit for the sale of telecommunications services and equipment.

Fig. 1 shows the terminal having an outer octagonal shape with a docking port 12 in each wall surface, but it is obvious that the external shape of the terminal building 1 as well as the number of docking ports are of secondary interest.
