15 20 25 30 .'35 40 508 384 2 i fig.
In Fig. 1 the invention in one embodiment and Figs. 4 and 5 show another embodiment of the invention seen in the same previously mentioned section.
1 betecknar in- och utlopps- portarna hos plattelementet. Fig. 1 thus shows a conventional plate element intended to be included in a plate package. 1 denotes the inlet and outlet ports of the plate element. The plate element furthermore exhibits in a conventional manner a wavy pattern of elongate spacer elements 2, some of which, depending on the plate pattern, end with one end in e.g. a gasket groove 3 arranged around the periphery of the plate element. A gasket is arranged in the gasket groove 3, which gasket also extends inside two ports in therefore punched groove grooves 4. As described above, what is described above constitutes a common plate element and is not in itself part of the invention. It is to be understood that spacer elements are also embossed in the plates outside the packing groove 3, in order to form support between the peripheral parts of the plate elements lying outside the packing groove.
I fig. Fig. 2 schematically shows a section along a packing groove and perpendicular to the plane of the plate. Fig. 3 schematically shows a partial view of a packing groove of the plate. In Figs. 2 and 3, 2 denotes the spacer elements formed in the plate, which at one end end in the packing groove 3 by means of a flank 6 facing it. In the example shown, the plate element is of the type which has packing grooves with its bottom located in the center plane of the plate. , so that the spacer elements will extend alternately on either side of the bottom 7 of the groove. As can be seen from Figs. 2 and 3, an elongate depression 8 is embossed in said flank 6, which with a part merges into and extends into the bottom 7 of the packing groove 3. This results in a reinforcement of the 3 edges of the packing groove, in which normally stress concentrations occur and where the deformation mentioned in the introduction usually occurs.
I fig. Figures 4 and 5 show Figures 2 and 3 corresponding views but with other embodiments of the stiffener 8. To the right in Figures 4 and 5 is shown a recess 8, which from the flank of one spacer element extends across the bottom 7 of the packing groove and up into flank of opposite spacer element. In this way, not only a stiffening of the transition between the flank and the track bottom is achieved, but also a stiffening of the entire track bottom. To the left in Figs. 4 and 5 is shown another embodiment of the stiffener. 10 15 3 508 384 According to this example, this extends across the track bottom and up along the entire resp. flank to open at the top of the spacer element. In this way, in addition to the track bottom, the entire flank is also stiffened.
The invention is described by way of example and it should be understood that the stiffener may have other shapes than those shown, the main thing being that it runs from the flank to the track bottom. The stiffening has been described above in the form of a depression embossed in the material of the plate element, but can of course conceivably consist of an applied material. The invention is of course also applicable to plate elements of the type in which the bottom of the packing groove is located in one limiting plane of the plate. Although not specifically mentioned, it should be understood that reinforcements according to the invention can of course also be carried out in connection with the packing grooves 4 running inside the ports 1.
