Abstract

A trestle construction, particularly for leisure motorboats comprising two generally planar bracing frames (2), each of which is intended to rest against the underlying trestle supporting surface and each of which includes along its bottom edge a bearing beam (4) that extends laterally outwards from one main surface of a respective bracing frame (2). Each bracing frame (2) has on its said one main surface an outwardly open channel (6) whose longitudinal axis is generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the bearing beam (4). The bearing beam has on its upper side an upwardly open channel (8) whose longitudinal axis is generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the frame beam (1), the longitudinal axes of the two channels (6, 8) essentially intersecting one another. The trestle construction also includes a generally planar support frame (3). The bottom edge of each of two mutually opposite ends of the frame rest in a corner angle between one of the bracing frames (2) and its bearing beam (4). The bottom edge-part and side-edge of the support frame are received in the two channels (6, 8) on respective bracing frames (2). The trestle construction also includes a removable holding device which functions to hold the bracing frames (2) against the support frame (3).
