Abstract

The casing has a rectangular opening, the size and configuration of which corresp. to that of the CRT screen. Each corner of the opening in the casing is assigned a pliable centering component which works in conjunction with the other centering components (16) to centre the CRT accurately in the opening. Each centering component has two separate, tongue-shaped ribs, formed in one piece with the front casing (10), which extend upwards from the casing interior, away from the opening in the casing towards the insertion direction of the CRT (12). The free ends of the ribs have opposing bevelled formations which slope towards each other in the direction of insertion of the CRT.
