Abstract

The box is made from a foldable material, preferably cardboard, and holds a large number of objects with the same outer dimensions. A perforation line around the box is used to split it into two sections. On two opposite sides of the box the perforation follows the outer dimensions of the products inside the box. A fold line running parallel to the perforation on these opposite sides enables the edges of the box on these sides to be folded into the box half section and against the products inside it.

The package according to the invention is in its external form a conventional box 1. The box is delimited by lid and bottom and a front side wall 2, a rear side wall 10 and long sides 3. Around the whole box runs a perforation 6 of such extent that the parts of the box 2 with a simple grips can be distinguished from each other. In connection with the perforation, there are two punched holes 4, 5 for this purpose, in which the cardboard can be gripped to tear off the upper part.

The perforation forms on the front side 2 of the carton a straight line, which on the side walls 3 first forms a short straight line and then changes to a wall-shaped appearance with a plurality of wall valleys 7, 8, 9, after which the perforation extends up to the upper edge of the side wall. Then the perforation follows the side edge to the rear wall, in which angles in the perforation can possibly be made so that a recess 14 is formed when the parts of the carton are separated. The perforation on the long side not shown in Figure 1 is identical to the perforation of the long side shown.

On the long sides there is also a partially perforated fold line 18.

After the upper part of the box has been removed, the side wall is folded inwards - downwards along this line to a horizontal or almost horizontal position. The weighing valves 7, 8, 9 are adapted in their shape to the shape of the individual goods in the box and constitute a support for these. This is clearer from Figure 4, which shows a opened package filled with goods 17 directly from above.

The two support edges 11, 12 have been folded inwards along the fold line 18 and connect closely to adjacent products. In the example shown here, the box contains fifteen individual products 17 with a circular cross-section. The products closest to the rear wall 10 do not require any special support, nor is this required for the products in the front row closest to the front wall 13, as these items are first taken out of the packaging at sale and until then receive support from the adjacent VarOI. The box according to the invention can and should be adapted to the products for which it is to be used, primarily by changes in the wavy support edge 11, 12, so that it is adapted to the shape and number of the products. In addition, different designs may exist regarding proportions between different parts, such as e.g. the ll, 12 distances of the support edges to the bottom of the drawer.
