Abstract

Arrangement for liq. treatment and dewatering of material suspensions, comprises two cylindrical, rotatable, liq.-permeable press rolls located in a trough that surrounds part of the rolls, with the rolls creating a press nip and a press nip converging region being formed between the base section of the trough and each roll. The base section of the trough can be opened and the rearrangement comprises a seal between the trough and its base section, in the form of a hollow, circumferential sealing ring connected to a pressure medium source and an opposing flat, vertical sealing surface.
