Abstract

Recently, touring on skis has increased considerably due to increasingly better access to prepared trails made possible by extensive investment in machines for preparing trails to international standards and like those made for competitions. It is therefore becoming increasingly enjoyable to tour on skis on trails made by snowmobiles and trail-preparing machines. However, problems persist with skis which tend to slide backwards and the problems are greatest when skiing on uphill slopes, on icy trails and on hard trails at temperatures around 0 degrees Celsius. These problems have been solved by an arrangement which can be fastened on the 44-millimetre wide, plastic-coated skis which are now generally used for touring. The arrangement allows skiing forwards in the normal manner, and what is known as skating can also be carried out. <IMAGE>

Mothållararnen (3) är rörligt upphängd i hållardelen (1) och hålls i sitt nedre läge ned hjälp av en f¿ader (6).The brackets (3) are movably suspended in the holder part (1) and are held in their lower position by means of a feeder (6).

Mothållararnen (3) har en viss utfornning :ed en vass,vin- klad spets (5) sa att den vid rörelse bakåt tränger ned i underlaget tlllsanlans led den närliggande stödytan pa nothållararnen för att effektivt motverka bakglld. The abutment holders (3) have a certain design: with a sharp, angled tip (5) so that when moving backwards it penetrates into the base of the support joint the adjacent support surface of the net holders to effectively counteract backlash.

By means of the stop screw (4) the movement of the retaining arms (3) is limited to a lower position and the support surface (9) on the tongue retaining members (3) in cooperation restricts the movement of the retaining part (1) upwards of the retaining members (3).

Den extra,löstagbara spetsen (8) ger snabbt fäste och motverkar bakglid i extrelt hårt,isigt underlag. The extra, detachable tip (8) provides quick attachment and counteracts backsliding in extremely hard, icy surfaces.
